line busy - no sound ?

Hi all,

I have a strange problem : when I call someone and he/she is busy on the line I would normally get a "busy" tone.

But unfortunately I don't hear a thing :D

Is it a setting somewhere ?

Isnt that how it is on the C500? As far as I know, everyone who has a C500 also has hardly any perceptible sound on an engaged line.

Have you checked the "In-call alert volume" setting under Start > Settings > Accessibility? I know with the i-mate SP3i i didnt hear a lot of call waiting and other call related sounds until i bumped this up a bit.
