noob question

ok ive read afew threads but wanted confirmation

i want to be able to reg edit phone and also fully back it up using an app,plus id like to try an app called

HTTPMail Provider Smartphone Edition by Adrian Software

for reg edit and back up i think i need privileged status to install n use say phm

for the app it says i dont have the correct security settings

now ive installed lots of other apps ok.

i presume therefore that altough ive installed other apps my phone isnt app unlocked

if so do i use this link

does this also address the security settings so i can install the other app?

Yep, you need to fully application unlock the phone using the developers site to access various parts of the registry.
