Guest dthomas03 Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 Hi Guys, I need some help!!! My bluetooth keeps turning itself off and leaves me with the following error message... "The bluetooth radio failed to turn ON due to insufficient driver memory available. You must perform a soft reset before you can turn ON the bluetooth radio." Ive tried leaving the backup battery to drain itself out hence forcing a factory reset but still get this error message!! Any ideas guys????
Guest fraser Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 "The bluetooth radio failed to turn ON due to insufficient driver memory available. Ive tried leaving the backup battery to drain itself out hence forcing a factory reset but still get this error message!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No need for that. Hold down the power button when you soft-reset for a factory reset, aka "hard reset".
Guest Pondrew Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 dthomas03: what does it say in the about section of bluetooth settings? What build are you running? Because if it's below build 3500 that could be the cause. I I've heard of bluetooth memory problems. I'm not sure if the problem has been resolved yet...
Guest dthomas03 Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 I've took a look in the bluetooth settings and build is 2200 maybe that is the problem. I've only just recieved the phone from orange last week so i definetely haven't run out of memory yet, im running a 1gb storage card. Whats the best thing to do contact the insurance??
Guest fraser Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 Whats the best thing to do contact the insurance?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Do a hard-reset first. You'll get one of these anyways when you get a new phone, so you might as well try. Also, try updating the drivers. Not all that unusual for this kind of thing, welcome to the Bleeding Edge of gadgetry! You always take a risk with any new product.
