There are various ways to code video for the smartphone but first of all you need to get hold of Betaplayer 0.5 from http://betaplayer.corecodec.org

I personally use PocketDivXEncoder to convert video files to DivX for the smartphone - it's very easy to use. You can find a link to PocketDivXencoder on the betaplayer site. If you want to convert DVD's then you also need a DVD ripper program like DVD Decrypter.
