Spanish SMS & FirmWareupgrade

Hello Guys,

First firmware issues:

Ive got a Cingular MPX220..my firmware is 0.3.

i got the Motorola Upgrade package, it installs ok, when asks me if im connected to internet i say "yes" (of course, i am connected) .. it says "an error has ocurred on the System Update Center" ... it seems motorola has taken away the firmware upgrade?

Second:

ive tryed to set spanish SMS msg , ive added the keys on the registry as some thread says here..i got the spanish dll , but i couldnt install on the phone..ive tryed many ways (renaming, trying several apps, etc) ... is there any magic .cab file??

De verdad no se si es posible colocar el telefono en español solo colocando el archivo .dll en la carpeta de windows no estoy tatalmente seguro que con WM 2003 sea posible. Si colocar el foro o el hilo en donde leiste esa informacion colacala para poder estudiarla un poco.

in order to set sms , u must add a regesitry on hte mobile phone and upload a dll file ..

well... the link you sent just won`t work with the mpx220, it`s for c500 and almost all the other smartphones who work with the T9 dictionary. Mpx220, on the other hand has iTAP, which works different. :doh:

hello,

i've got a mpx 220 and want to write in spanish with t9 enabled. Can anyone send me please the t9sapnish.dll. I would like to try to instal it.. mail: [email protected]

Also, if the mpx220 is itAp, how can I then fix it to write in spanish??
