Solution to Speaker&headset problem

I made some changes in the headset profile and I havent had this problem since I changed it and I tried to call my phone to see if it buggs but it now seems to be working :D :D

This is what I did, I changed the headset profile to:

Ring type:

Vibrate

Ring Volume:

off

just to be sure, this is how my headset profile looks like:

Auto-answer in:

Never

Ring type:

Vibrate

Ring Volume:

Off

Alarm type:

Increasing

Alarm volume:

3

Notification type:

Play sound

Notification volume:

3

System sound volume:

3

Saw that nobody came with a solution so I hope this one will work for you cause it does for me :D

Surely though that means that when on headset, the phone never rings, and just vibrates which may go unnoticed if in a jacket pocket etc.

Sorry, can you make it clear what speaker/ headset problem it is you are on about. I had already changed my headset profile similar to yours in the first place, but I don't know of what problem I seemed to have un-knowingly fixed.

The problem was (I think) that if you were listening to music through your headphones and received a text message, the sound would then come out of the external speaker as well, earning you dirty looks from people nearby...

well i changed the settings and i get a problem hahaah

the phone doesnt ring but if like u said u listening 2 music den it stops in the headset and instead it play on the loudspeaker!!!! so im worser off!!!! ARGH! lol :D :D :shock: :) :| :x :roll: :shock:

I CNT BELEIVE IT! after i reset my profile back 2 default i phoned my phone while listening 2 my music and i still cnt beleive it, the music stopped it played my ring tone and nothing at all came outta the loudspeaker so it seems 2 b fixed YAY! :)

damn i spoke 2 soon when i pulled out the headset and put it back in while it was ringing it was ok but den i phoned it again and the problem came back again!!!!
