TTM 4.4 only works when MMC is locked! can't save!

I have copied my TomTom Mobile 4.4 MMC onto a new 256MB card.

However TTM will only run when the card is locked (i.e. read-only)

It therefore seems to lose all my locations and favourites every time I close the app and restart it.

Any Ideas....??? Its driving me a bit nuts... (excuse the pun)

I presume this is for the E200? If so check the card is not a dual layer format type as these are not compatable with the E200. A safe make to use is Sandisk.

Its a Kingston 256MB SD Card.

I've had no problems filling it up completely, reading it, deleting it and doing it all again. TomTom runs ok when its locked but just crashes when its not locked...!!! V Weird.
