Can I Listen to mp3's Through Headphones

I just want to know if there is maybe an app that can allow me to listen to mp3's through my headphones jack ???. I mainly want to to this because I want to plug my player into my amp in my car allowing me to have an instant radio with my MPs !!

I have connected my SPV C500 via it's mini audio jack to my home system and it worked well ,i do not know on your case but u may give it a try.

Media player can play mp3 etc but remember the pinouts on the headphone jack of the MPX200 is different to standard headphones.

I noticed, but when I plug in with a jack of the same size it keeps on playing through the speaker instead of going through the headset is there a setting which I must make or is the config just plain automatic and my headphones up to garbabge??

it should be automatic. Your adaptor needs to have 4 "bands" on the plug, normally they have 3. Ground, left, right, microphone. That might be the reason it's not switching.

OR

you need to hard reset it. MPX200 likes to stick in headset mode, so probably it also likes to stick out of headset mode too..

On Spv C500 i tried with a 3 band jack left ,right ,ground and it works fine with other headphones or with the home system.

i bought one of the 2.5mm to 3.5mm stereo adapter from e-bay.. now i can plug my phone in to my external speakers and my mp3's sounds like heaven..

you might want to try it out too...

look for the mpx200 stereo adapter... the guy ships is fast. i live in malaysia and got the adapter in the mail 1 week later. now i use it with my top of the range sony ear plugs on the go and it's great!
