Guest schmeegle Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Does anyone use this instead of outlook? Will a smartphone sync? cheers!
Guest chucky.egg Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 No it won't, but somebody is apparently working on a sync facility. I think.
Guest scottishdave Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 As far as I'm aware you can't use AvtiveSync to do this as it's specifically designed to work with windows software. You could always ask Mozilla for tech support and see what they say.
Guest scottishdave Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Damn! Thought for too long over my answer and chucky.egg bet me to it!!! Damn you Chucky! :D

Guest chucky.egg Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 Ah, this is the thing I was thinking of: http://sourceforge.net/projects/tb-sync/ There are also plans (not sure how far they've got) for Palm sync'ing, and an interesting one to sync to an IMAP folder.
Guest crypto1969 Posted April 15, 2005 Report Posted April 15, 2005 Hmmm do U really think that Microsoft would make a competitors e-mail client be syncable with ActiveSync? NO! Does anyone use this instead of outlook? Will a smartphone sync? cheers! <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Guest awarner [MVP] Posted April 16, 2005 Report Posted April 16, 2005 Try google ;) http://www.reuters.co.uk/newsArticle.jhtml...storyID=7968176 http://www.symbian.com/developer/letters/newsletter36.html It's not Activsync as such but the Activsync protocol that symbian has the licence for.
