Music Skipping

I promised myself that i wouldn't get annoyed with this - but it has got to me so here i am once again seeking the sage council of modaco members **wipes brown from nose** :D

When the phone is playing music mp3 / wma at the beginning of every track it plays a tiny part (we're talking miliseconds) cuts out quickly (again miliseconds) then plays the rest of the song with no issue. Its at the begining of every track EXCEPT when i manually skip tracks.

I have no idea what it could be - it only happens on this my second C500 - i never had issue with my first one (replaced for dust) Im using the same mini SD, and the files in genral are 128 kbps WMA.

The phone isn't busy either - it happens even directly after boot with nothing open but media player.

I have a 256mb Mini SD and its doesn't matter how full it is - its the same.

I did wonder if it was a result of installing apps on the card. I also found bluetooth active sync causes problems with certain things - i did wonder if it was to do with that.

When i wake up late im gonna try soft reset, but any other ideas guys? Cheers

Mine does the same - tried out Media player today (first time) and noticed that it did it. I just assumed it was a 'feature'. :D
