Guest nedge2k Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 @Darkening: Do you plan to add proxy support for those of us on O2 UK PAYG? IRC works over http proxy on O2 (193.113.200.195:8080)
Guest Darkening Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 Yes, i will add proxy support, if it is possible. Next week maybe, I'll email you the results!
Guest nedge2k Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 Thanks :D It should be possible, i know Zone-MR has jus incorporated proxy support into his CellTrack app (was testing it yesterday). I think he did it by connecting to the default "Internet Connection" and then proxying with whatever was stored in the data connections proxy list. Maybe you could ask him?
Guest elhornet Posted April 18, 2005 Report Posted April 18, 2005 Emailled you about this alrady but the channels I join don't come up as a Tab, and when I query my home connection from my phone the stuff I type from my home connection doesn't show up on the phone. I'll give it another shot later. Client looks great tho.
Guest mimic42100 Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 Is it still too late to email you for the free trial? I'm going to install the software now. I've been wanting IRC on my audiovox for a long time =)
Guest Sogarth Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 Is it still too late to email you for the free trial? I'm going to install the software now. I've been wanting IRC on my audiovox for a long time =) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know that I've sent in an e-mail a couple of weeks ago, but no response as of yet. I don't know if he's looking for a bug report for validation first, or what... I know that I'd like to be able to continue to test the app beyond the 31 day trial, though, since there are a bunch of things I haven't yet had a chance to test. I can think of three or four bugs/small feature enhancements right off the top of my head already. ;)
Guest Darkening Posted May 17, 2005 Report Posted May 17, 2005 We’ve stopped a free registration. wmIRC is not a beta now. We’ve sent more than a hundred of free reg. codes for the first beta testing week. We were very busy with testing and improving the wmIRC to make it stable and more compatible with different servers. Check out the new 1.2 version on our web site (http://wmirc.com). And we’ve recompiled wmIRC to run on Pocket PC devices too. The interface looks similar to the Smartphone version, but it works and will be improved.
