Guest pierre Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 You could try deleting all these installed files from your comp. (Active Synch), and if not possible do try a hard reset and get your phone back to factory' settings.
Guest mr47 Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 pierre, thanks for the reply. however i cannot get past the welcome screen and so i cannot get into windows mobile- so i cannot access the files!?
Guest mr47 Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 (edited) just did this and got the 3 coloured screen: Remove the battery and wait 30 seconds. Replace the battery. Press and hold the Camera key located on the side of your phone in the upper right when looking at the front of your phone. Whilst holding down the Camera key, press and release the Power button located on the side of your phone in the upper left when looking at the front of your phone. Wait 5 seconds. You should see first a white screen, then a multicoloured screen. Edited April 8, 2005 by mr47
Guest mr47 Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 what can i do with the multicoloured screen? - it doesn't seem to want to connect via activesync

Guest henshu Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 f*** it! just running the latest update re-flash  PS thanks for dropping by and sharing this little tragedy with me ;) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> here the answer for you. i screwwd up with the same s*** - mytools.sp.cab. fortunately found this nice answer on the web and can say it really works. hard reset of your mobile in fact: 1. Press and hold soft1 and soft2 keys. The soft 1 and soft 2 buttons are the ones under the screen. 2. Press and hold power button for around 1 second only. Time is extremely important. Release power button. Keep hold soft1 and soft2 keys. 3. Later, screen shoould show instructions to ask user to press '0' key to reset to factory default. 4. Press '0' within the timeout period, which is only several seconds only. 5. If no instruction is shown on the screen, repeat steps 1 to 4. The timing is sensitive.
