Guest [email protected] Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 Well, my mpx220 quit charging (cingular). Well when I received a new one, used sprite backup to restore. I was using activesync with an exchange server just fine on the old phone. But... I cannot now even activate exchange activesync now. When I go in and check the boxes for "inbox" etc.. they won't stay checked. When I go into activesync on my pc and try to enable exchange activesync from options - check the boxes and apply - i get an error that the settings cannot be changed. Yeesh. needless to say cingular and motorolla are clueless - and this worked so easily for me the first time, I can't even imagine what the issue is. Thanks for any thoughts. Andy
Guest llch_81 Posted April 9, 2005 Report Posted April 9, 2005 just thought that you ought to post this in the mpx220 forum.. this is the mpx200 forum... cheerios
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 Have you set up the correct partnership? or does the Activsync think the phone is set for Guest? Moved to the 220 section
Guest [email protected] Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 No it syncs fine to outlook through USB - and I told it when I set up the partnership that it would be connecting to exchange. It gives me the ability to go in and check the sync check boxes, it just won't save the changes. Note I can browse the internet fine. I just can't get exchange sync to turn on. Have you set up the correct partnership? or does the Activsync think the phone is set for Guest? Moved to the 220 section <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
