Does anyone know what the correct encoding for custom Mp3s is for the MPx220? I have one that was on my v600 which was like 64kbps @ 4400khz and it worked great and sounded very loud, when I put that on the MPx220, it is very low. I know this is a known problem, but I have never really seen a definitive encoding standard for this, just wondering if someone has this problem and found a way to move beyond it. I hate the default tones on the phone, they are horrible, so if anyone has some insight, please help.

And lets not turn this into a discussion thread on how crappy this feature is or argue about it, please stay on topic. Post your results and feedback, I know everyone is tired of threads like I mentioned.

Here is sofware that I use and you can adjust the encoding and output quality.
