Can anybody help me please? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> few steps for you to follow... 1. download "betaplayer" for your phone (supports divx 5.2.1) 2. re encode yr movie to avi using the divx codec (you can use virtualdub for this) with a resolution of 176X 200, reencode the audio to 70kbps mono. let me know if it doesn't work... cheerios
Guest Bonecollector Posted April 9, 2005 Report Posted April 9, 2005 Wow!?? Okay i understand the first part, download betaplayer. Do you know where i could download that? I assume its a program. And what files can betaplayer play? I dont really get the second part. Should i try Avi files or something?
Guest i_oWn_u Posted April 9, 2005 Report Posted April 9, 2005 you can find beta player right here. you can play movies music etc.betaplayer_1_.smartphone.0.04.exe
Guest llch_81 Posted April 9, 2005 Report Posted April 9, 2005 I dont really get the second part. Should i try Avi files or something? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> you can get betaplayer on the internet for free.. search for it in google. ok here's the deal.. you realise that the screen size on yr phone is smaller right? and of course your phone processor is not as fast as your 2.8ghz processor on your notebook right? what you need to do to your video file is basically downscale the following things. 1. video resolution - to 176 X 200 pixels 2. frame rate - from original (depends on yr video) to 15 - 20fps 3. audio - from original (again, depending on yr file) to 70kbps MONO so you will need a programme to convert yr video files right? i use virtualdub (again, downloadable for free, search google). beta player supports avi, mpg, mp3, playlist files, wma, wav, midi and much more... cheerios

Guest i_oWn_u Posted April 9, 2005 Report Posted April 9, 2005 it says you have to make a donation and all. have you got the file that you could just attach right here?
Guest Bonecollector Posted April 10, 2005 Report Posted April 10, 2005 Hey, Ive downloaded that programs, i could change frame rate to 15, but i couldnt find where to change the audio and format thingy. Well i saved it as AVI-file though. But when i copyd it to my phone (i got microsoft activesync btw dont know if that got anything to do with it) it was going very slow and when it was on like 10 percent it fell back to 0. I also putted an MPeG movie on it but i couldnt open it with Betaplayer (when i selected open file it wasnt in the map where i had putted it in). Help me please!
