Guest trungracingdev Posted April 9, 2005 Report Posted April 9, 2005 My mpx220's backlight doesn't turn on when i open the phone sometimes. Then other times it does. Then sometimes it takes awhile for it to go on. Has anyone experienced the same problems? If so, is there anyway I can fix this?
Guest Paraklas Posted April 10, 2005 Report Posted April 10, 2005 Your mpx220 has a light sensor for the keypad backlighting. When it has adequate light the keypad will remain off in order to save battery until you enter a dark room or some place with not enough light.

Guest awarner [MVP] Posted April 10, 2005 Report Posted April 10, 2005 Presumably theis works the same way as the MPX200 by means of a magnetic switch. It's possible that this compnent may be faulty.
