Guest brykins Posted April 10, 2005 Report Posted April 10, 2005 I was starting to get worried about my battery life but yesterday, after reading through the forums here, I noticed that people were saying that you could get better battery life after a hard reset. Anyway - thursday evening I had a fuly charged phone. I put it in flight mode all night, got up at seven on Friday and put the phone out of flight mode. Went to work and by five, my phone was reporting critical battery and by six it had switched itself off. I'd made NO CALLS at all, four or five texts and and maybe half an hour of diary fiddling. Recharged it overnight and the saturday morning I hard reset. The phone has been on since then (it's now past eleven on Sunday night) and with about ten minutes of calls, twenty or so texts and demonstrating the phone to a friend for an hour today, I still have a full battery according to the guage on the homescreen. So - it's either the hard reset that did it, or removing SPAlarm....
Guest brykins Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 how long have you had your phone? One month now...almost to the day. And very, very pleased with it.
Guest zebo4 Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 It was probably your alarm that was shortening your battery life. After reading your post i quickly removed the alarm program from my phone and i've noticed my phone's battery lasting longer throughout the day!

After reading your post i quickly removed the alarm program from my phone and i've noticed my phone's battery lasting longer throughout the day! In that case....I shan't reinstall it either! Any idea of what to use to make the alarms more user-friendly on the C500? To set the alarm is a bit of a pain itself as it's hidden away in the menus, and there's no option for a Monday-Friday 7am wake-up call....it has to be set every night as far as I can tell.
