Hi guys!

Ive searched everywhere for this problem before posting to make sure it hasnt been answered before so I thought what the hell ill post and ask other people out there.. Ok here goes:

I followed the guide to setting up Activesync over bluetooth and it works perfectly. The only problem is it seems everytime I reboot my laptop I need to re-enter the bluetooth PIN request to start my c500 syncing with activesynch. Does everyone else have to do this?? I thought when you pair two bluetooth devices you only need to enter this pin once and from then on it should never have to be entered again because both items are paired?!

For starters everytime I would start activesync from my phone my laptop would pop up and say C_500 is accessing your laptop click here to enter pin then I would enter 0000 then it would pop up on my phone then I would enter 0000 and it would work. After searching google I found out this is because "Secure Connection" was ticked on the bluetooth serial port under advanced congig of bluetooth. So I unticked secure connection hoping it would solve this pin problem.

After a reboot I then tried to start activesync again from the phone now it seems the computer lets me connect with no pin it flashed up c_500 connected to serial bluetooth serial port (half fixed!) now however it seems the c500 wants me to put in a pin which i did then the pc asks me to verify the pin. So I guess im asking is there a way on the C500 to untick the secure connection box of the bluetooth serial port?? Or do all you guys put up with putting the pin in everytime u connect to bluetooth after a reboot??

Is there a place on the c500 I can see paired bluetooth devices? All I can find is bluetooth devices but that seems to be just devices the phone can see not the phone is paired too.

Sorry for the huge ass post!!!

All fixed seems Dell added some bluetooth software to my laptop which kept wanting the pin to be put in I uninstalled it now it works even after a reboot!!
