Guest michhy Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 I've been reading a lot about how battery life is increased (or NOT decreased) when, before we perform a hard reset or ROM upgrade, the battery must be fully charged. While I do agree, but I'm curious as to why. Some say its because the phone will ONLY charge up to the max charge the battery has when we performed the hard reset. True? Is there a registry that writes down the max battery charge somewhere? if yes, cant we just edit that instead of having to perform a hard reset to restore "decent" battery life? What happens if I perform a Sprite Backup restore AFTER a hard reset, but my Restore image is one I did when my phone had only 60% charge? I'm so puzzled, so many you guys would like to share your views. Thanks!
