Hi.

There is one issue I have aboute sending MMS with my 8010 (c500).

The message can't be larger than 100kB, and to me, thats not

enough. I have receicved messages from among others a K700i.

there is a .3gp movie wich is 170 kB. So i can receive bigger messages.

In the MMS settings, the largest size I can choose is, of course 100 kB.

So I guess the answer will be to mess with the registry, but I don't know

where.

Is there anyone to help me out with this one?

You can set the outgoing message size to "All"...

Start / Messaging / Menu / Options / Account Setup / Media Messages / Outgoing Message Size

Hmmm.. I can't

It stops when I enter Account setup.

I cannot click on mms with the joystick.

If i press menu, I get three choices: New, edit and delete.

The thing is, edit and delete is greyed out. So I cannot edit.

The only thing I can edit, is my pop3 mail. Not sms, outlook mail nor mms.

Any suggestions?

On the C500 (Orange UK) under Account setup MMS is option 1 - if you take this you can then change the outgoing message size. Is it different on the 8010?

Mine is

1. sms

2. outlook email

3. pop3mail

4. mms

Looks there is some different.

But I cannot do something about the sms althoug it stays as no.1

But if i go to: start/configuration (folder)/mms settings

Then I can change the size from 40K to 100K

I can only understand that these values are to be located in the

registry, and can be increased. But again, I'm not that clever that

I'm able to find them.

My understanding is that 100k is the maximum for the MMS system set by the operators.

Could be wrong...

Would seem reasonable Stu but Fjatle said he/she received one of 170k
