What might be happening here? Texting problem....

Everything used to be fine....but just today I have a problem sending texts from my C500. I can receive them fine and I have checked the service centre number but I can't send any.

The odd thing is that if I watch the signal strength indicator I have four bars while typing the text. As soon as I press send, all the bars disapear. This happens each time and is repeatable.

Anyone have this before? Anyone shed any light on it?

I'm sure I've heard of that before... on a different phone I think

Have you done a search?

You might need to try lots or variations on the search, and read a few threads, but I'm sure I've heard that somewhere before.

dont know if this info is any use - but there was a problem last night between 6ish and 8.30ish with texts. Some were unable to be sent and some arrived after 8.30ish.

Dont know if this is similar to your problem (could also be local to S Wales!)

We havent got that many masts yet!

It may have been - not sure now as I turned the phone off and back on and it seemed to sort it out....but I did that at around 8:30 I think so it could have been the service!
