What's up Hippo mate - memory so bad you can't remember the order *lol*

Nah seriously though, that's a canny list!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Heh, i think if i sat down long enough i could probably remember the exact order and where i got them from! Yes.....i am that sad! :)

The only ones I have left are a V600, 8910i, K750i, Vario and the VPA. Thinking of chucking a smartphone into the mix as well shortly. Probably an imate SP5/SP5m.

This is all the phones I can remember, including ones I just tried out and ended up returning, in the order I first used them with the operator I used them on in parenthesis:

2000:

Motorola Profile 300 (Verizon Wireless AMPS) [gave back to employer]

2001:

Kyocera QCP-2035 (Sprint PCS) [sold]

2002:

Sanyo SCP-4700 (Sprint PCS) [sold]

Sanyo SCP-6200 (Sprint PCS)

Motorola V60i (Verizon Wireless)

2003:

Nokia 6610 (T-Mobile USA) [sold]

2004:

Nokia 6225 (Sprint PCS) [sold]

Nokia 6800 (T-Mobile USA) [sold]

2005:

Motorola MPx200 (T-Mobile USA)

Audiovox CDM-8910 (Verizon Wireless) [sold]

Motorola i215 (Boost Mobile)

Motorola i730 (Boost Mobile)

LG PM-325 (Sprint PCS) [returned]

LG MM-535 (Sprint PCS) [trying to sell]

RIM Blackberry 7105t (T-Mobile USA) [returned]

Motorola RAZR V3 (T-Mobile USA) [returned]

Motorola V360 (T-Mobile USA) [sold]

Panasonic X800 (T-Mobile USA) [trying to sell]

Right now the MPx200 on T-Mobile and i730 on Boost Mobile are the ones in use. I should have a Qtek 8010 coming in a day or two to supplant the MPx200. This year I have invested a lot in phones and have gone through more handsets this year than in all years prior combined.

I can count mine on 1 hand. Guess I hang on to them for more than 3 months :)

1). Nokia 5110 (still kicking)

2&3&4). Ericsson T28s (had an unfortunate meeting with several automobiles. Found it later, around the thickness of a Moto V3 RAZR). Actually, if you want to be technical about it, I had 3 of these, the first 2 replaced under warranty (#1 wouldn't charge the battery, #2 decided it wouldn't contact the base cell at all and swore black & blue that there was no network. Got fixed and did the same thing 3 days later)

5). Nokia 3315 (POS ended up doing what they all seem to do - after around 6 months, battery refused to hold a charge)

6). Siemens S55 (awesome phone, and the first phone I started customising the OS)

7). O2 Xphone II (HTC Feeler)

That's about 1 phone a year...

Sony CMZ-1 (analogue thing with flippy mike on Voda)

Motorola MR-20 (orange)

Nokia 2110i (Work phone)

Motorola MR-30 (orange)

Morotola MR-601 (first Dual Band phone, orange)

Nokia NK-402 (orange)

Nokia 6150e (orange)

Ericsson T28S (orange)

Nokia 6210 (on Voda with work, had 12 handsets in 18 months!!)

Motorola T280Lite

Motorola T280 (still my official work mobile)

Motorola T720

Motorola V600

Sony Ericsson S700i (great phone, but no Sat Nav!!!)

SPV-C550 (unlocked on Voda, with my work sim in)

Worst of the bunch defo the 6210, absolute POS, Voda corporate got so annoyed with me they gave me an upgrade. The MR-601 only lasted 4 months as the battery design was crap and it used to move and shut the phone off. The V600 was repaired 3 times, each time it needed a replacement speaker.

Best, Current SPV is spot on but I am still in the honeymoon period :) . 6150e Still works and was never replaced, T280 still works and serves as a backup, the mrs has the S700i now and that was good.

Carl.

(not including crappy old Nokia work phones)

Ericsson R380 - first real smartphone, with flip opening to touchscreen and ability to sync contacts, calendar etc with Lotus Notes / Outlook and download emails, WAP, etc over dial up internet connection. Lasted 2 years before upgrade to:

Sony Ericsson P800 - Used for 18 months. Similar functions to R380 but better looking, smaller, weighed less and could upgrade memory card to 512 MB. Also supported GRPS and full internet access with Opera browser. Camera. Could install new apps to phone such as Traffic-i (live traffic info), games, and bluejacking software!

Sony Ericsson P910 - Owned for 1 year. Like P800 but up to 1Gb memory card and mini QUERTY keyboard on inside of flip. Better MP3 player, camera, and video recording. My own additions include Sudoku & Google Earth!

Current Work Phone: Orange SPV C500. The worst work phone I've ever had! Doesn't answer calls half the time, crashes, signal quality is pants, takes ages to boot up, why is there no 'Notepad' function? Why can't you SEND bluetooth items but you can receive them? (what's the point in that)

Can't believe the number of people on here who love their C500 !

Sorry guys but I prefer SonyEricsson :-)

U r confusing the things because u use P800/P900 ,it's different types of phones we are talking of .There are things that P800/P900 can do and C500 can't and viceversa ... ;)

Hmmm, what can the C500 do that the P910 can't then?..

Naa, can't think of anything! :-)
