Guest jporch316 Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 hello I tried to download a video clip off of the Orange World site today (luis garcia goal) - my first time. (333kb) Clicked on the download button a white screen appeared telling me that the file was downloading (had a .pvx extension) - then PV player opened and told me "PV Player has encountered an error" My first thought was that the file had downloaded and all i had to do was find it on the phone and play it with beta player. Couldnt find the file anywhere - called orange (cost me 50p download) - technical guy told me there was probably high traffic and credited me 1.50 to try later - tried to ask him about the file type and my phone being incompatible but he didnt understand ! Cut a long story short - went back on orange world tried to download again same thing happened although it told me id already downloaded the file previously Has anyone got any experience of this file type - does anyone know if this had downloaded and is lost on my phone - do i need another video player ? Has anyone downloaded similar before? I think i got redirected from Orange World to liverpoolfc.tv if that makes any difference.
Guest Confucious Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 just had a look on fileext.com and it can't find .pvx! Did a google and theer is a video conference company http://www.imagomicro.co.uk/polycom/polycom_pvx.htm They're probably trying to use that :D
