C500 to Qtek ROM

Hi

I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade from c500 version 4.1.1.4 to the QTek 8010 or maybe sp3i ROM?? Will it lock the phone?My phone is currently unlocked... Will I be able to go back to the orange rom?

And the Imate sp3i is only available to people who own an IMate phone as you have to register with them at club imate to download the update.

I used florins unlock progrma and now i can use any rom. I have a c500 and using qtek rom

I did unlock it using the website imei-check.com or something like that....is that florin's program?? It cost £20....does it mean that I can use the qtek rom now??

Whats does the Qtek Rom offer thats better? I checked it out but couldnt see any advantages.

mainly it's people jumping on the "let's upgrade" bandwagon as it's something different to try on the phone.

Hi

The main reason I am asking is because I currently have the latest orange rom 4.1.1.4 and the home screen flickers for a few minutes when i switch profiles e.g. from silent to normal and vice versa....anyone know why this happens? Will changing the rom remove this problem?
