E200 Dead using Bluetooth H/Set

I have an SPV E200 running the latest version of Windows Mobile 4.20.0 (Build 13288). I synch the phone with my laptop using an MSI BTooth dongle (pig to set-up) and with a Logitech F-0179A headset.

With BTooth switched to 'On' and the Logitech headset working perfectly I go on a trip in my car and the phone regularly just powers down - DEAD! - mid-call. Yesterday this happened four times and each time I have to power-up the phone again.

Has anyone else seen this problem? Any suggested fixes? Is this an OS/Phone/Device issue?
