I came accross this page for c500 and it was an update to version 4.1.5.5...Is this an old version or a recent one??

Mine is 4.1.1.0, never bothered to upgrade my rom.

Maybe this is just a regional firmware upgrade.

The mods made to the ROM look the same as the mods made in the UK 4.1.1.4 update.

That's the windows version not the ROM version and is the same on all typhoons. The ROM version can be found if you scroll down.

V 4.1.1.4 is the lates UK version. The second 1 is the country code (ie 1=UK) so presumably 5 is Switzerland. the UK version ends .4 and the Swiss version .5 but that is probably just due to some localisation. Basically 4.1.5.5 is just the latest Swiss version and nothing to get excited about (unless, of course, you live in Switzerland in which case you should get very excited!)
