does anyone know if there's a limit on the max capcity of SD cards for use with the O2 XDAIIii?

I'm planning on buying a 1Gb card from crucial

Although I have no experience of that exact model, I do know that all Smartphones and Pocket PC Phone Edition devices are quite happy with 1gig cards

go to aria.co.uk very cheap sd card there, about £45 for a 1gb card

There shouldn't ever be limits on the card size with SD cards. The card itself handles all that. The phone just says "give me the document at: \Music\Track01.mp3" and the card does the hardwork of figuring out the addressing and then sends the data.

thats what i thought, but my digital camcorder doesnt like my 1gb card, but it loves my 512mb fine. weird.

Nah, just shoddy programming in the firmware ;) 1GB cards probably weren't around to test on it when it was first made.

It's possible your digital cam only reads single cell cards and the card in question was a multi one. A similar problem existed on the E200. As far as I can see, this isn't an issue on the Blue Angel.

yeah i remember that the e200 couldnt read mlc's until after the update, but my camera reads my mlc fine.
