Best thing to do is to encode the files to avi and use BetaPlayer for viewing as it's better than media player.

Have a look in the Articles section and also the GAQ section as their are guides posted there to help with encoding etc.

sorry,

hi again. sorry still can't fix it. i thought i got it, but nope. i tried the articles, but i don't quite understand. the files are supposed to be avi right? my files are avi, and it's choppy. i tried to increase the buffer, but doesn't work. i quite don't understand the encoding part though. do you mean encoding to avi? or encoding it to something else, like xvid or divx?

and i read your reply to someone else:

2003 uses more memory to run so that does not help but your problem

is more likely down to encoding.

Betaplayer plays divx avi as standard there is a guide to converting and

encoding

so do i have to get divx software to change avi to divx/xvid?

desparate .. :?:
