Guest Mehka Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 Hello all, Im sure some of you have been looking around for java games and noticed that some of them wont work with the java manager. (I have used the search option :D) You could say 'why are you looking for java games while there are plenty of sp games", it is a fact that there are a hell lot of more java games. I have tried some s60 java games and SE S700 java games, I have found out that they dont work. Did you find java games that do work?
Guest sevin300zx Posted April 15, 2005 Report Posted April 15, 2005 How do you load the java games onto the phone? What directory do they belong in? I have a crapload of java games from when i had my last phone (SE t616) and liked a couple. Wanted to add them to the processing power of my mpx220.... HOW!!?!?!?!?!
Guest Mehka Posted April 15, 2005 Report Posted April 15, 2005 I add them by opening them (the jar files) in the file-explorer, they are then installed in some kind of java-manager

Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted April 24, 2005 Report Posted April 24, 2005 If you've got C500 then you can load those J2ME jar files using the pre-installed Java MIDlet Manager. Jar files are associated with the manager so that when you click on them via file explorer, the Midlet manager will launch. Once a midlet has been installed, you can just launch the java midlet manager from the start menu to play it. Just a reminder guys, copyrighted applications cannot be attached/shared for public use.

Guest dragon82 Posted May 11, 2005 Report Posted May 11, 2005 hi all, You must install "java vituar machine" to run Java games I've used Motorola mpx200
Guest Mehka Posted May 12, 2005 Report Posted May 12, 2005 We know how to play java games, the problem is some java games dont work (like java games for s60 or s40 nokias, SE java games dont work) the only ones I have been lucky with are motorola java games (like v500 ones if im not mistaken) only problem with those is that they require being played fullscreen and with Win 2003 se in the java manager there is a bar at the top and at the bottom.
