How can I enable the Backup/Restore Tool in ActiveSync 3.8 for my xPhoneII ?

What all will it backup & restore ?

Unfortunately you cannot, this is a PPC feature and is not available on the Smartphone as yet.

Any suggestions how to take backup from phone to PC - preferably freeware and a light process on the phone ?

Sprite backup is the app a lot of people use now but it's not free.
