I can't get passed the problem of this error msg constantly showing up: "Critical Communication services have failed to start. Try resettin the mobile device, and then connect again" I've downloaded the latest version of activesync(3.8?) and even tryd turning of my firewall, nuthin changes!

You say you've tried turning off your firewall? This wouldn't be Zone Alarm would it? And the known problem with zone Alarm and ActiveSync?

It's years since I had the problem with a PPC see No3 at http://www.cewindows.net/faqs/activesync/f...0Proxy%20Issues dor the problem. It relates to PPCs not smartphones but I'd be suprised if it's not the same problem. Only solution is to uninstall ZA I believe and get another firewall. Let us know if it works. Good luck ;)
