Guest yves Posted April 16, 2005 Report Posted April 16, 2005 hi all, well, it's now quite a while like that on my Orange SPV e200 (2.6.5.1), but I was just wondering if anyone got a clue. My Programm-Uninstall app-manager is just empty. all the folders are in \storage\windows\app Mgr as they should be, and all the registry keys seem to be ok, as far as I can tell. I do not know much about the interour design of the app mgr, cause the msdn.docs are quite ignoring this part and keep telling you to just trust in the manager to do what you tell him to via xml script . anyhow, does anyone know if there is a limit of number of programs that can be displayed there? or if anything else provoces this behaviour? anyone found out why or how this happens, and even better, what to do to prevent or repair it? kindly regards yves
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 It's a known bug that when you have 50+ applications etc installed the Settings\Remove Programs list becomes blank. You can still uninstall via Activsync though until you get below 50 as the list will reappear again.
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 I agree with awarner. The 'bug' is still present even in the C500. Check my post here: http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=...66entry560966
