Which has better reception? C500 or T610...

Has anyone ran any tests comparing them? Also, i find the coverage indicator bars are not very stable...maybe overly sensetive?

My old phone used to be a T610 and I found the reception better than with the C500. The problem with the C500 is that I often have 3 bars, then phone someone and during the call it goes down to 1 or no bars. ie the coverage can vary greatly over small distances.
