Guest Backflipping Posted April 18, 2005 Report Posted April 18, 2005 Hi, I've just got a bluetooth keyboard for my phone... (the iTech Bluetooth Virtual Keyboard) When I type letters in a row that match the phones keypad letter layout, it shows the wrong character... for example, if i type 'tt' it shows 'u' - as if i'd pressed key 8 twice. Does this occur with all bluetooth keyboards, and if so, is there an easy fix? (Ive tried changing the input mode on the phone) Any advice? Tim
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted April 18, 2005 Report Posted April 18, 2005 I don't have this problem with my Proporta Bluetooth Keyboard. If you pause between the presses (effectively letting the cursor move on) does it work OK? P
Guest Backflipping Posted April 18, 2005 Report Posted April 18, 2005 Yes, if I pause, the cursor moves on (and the underline goes)... then I can enter another letter. It is also ok if i enter a sequence of letters where no consecutive letters are on the same phone keypad key. I can use it, but its a bit slow - and obviously a bit of a pain. Tim
