mpx220 + downloading games

;) it's my birthday and i got a storage card for my phone. i thought 'yey now i can get games'.....but....no. i downloaded a game onto my PC and tried to active sync it onto my phone like i did with tunes. it wouldnt work. i can see the file is on my phone but nothing happens when i try to open it. can someone give me a step by step guide so i can do this? i have trauled the net and seen step by step guides but some arent step by step and others dont have anything to do with my phone. pleeeeease :cry:

Have a look at the 'First 48 Hours' link in my sig for installation instructions on the various file-types.

What game are you trying to run and where did it come from ? A link would be good.

What type of file did you download ? What is the file extension ?

thanks for replying but it doesnt matter anymore. i have completely broken my phone. there are now only 3 items in my start menu. icons from home screen have gone and it wont let me do anything at all. birthday=spoilt :cry:

Cheer up. It might be time to hard reset your phone. It's a bit like going to the dentist - very daunting at first but you'll feel so much better afterwards.

Your phone will be back to the state it was in when you got it out of the box so try and sync your Contacts etc with Outlook.

right....i have some advice (although most of you probably arent as thick as me so you wouldnt do it)

DO NOT cut and paste things from storage to 'storage card' to make more space on your phone. i did this thinkin it might let me download a game

BUT...all it did was wipe my whole phone. i eventually got it back tho.... :oops:

Oh you'd be surprised at some of the wavky tricks people have tried on their phones.

Good advice though - always have to know what can be moved and what has to stay. In particular things in the \Windows folder

right. i tried 2 install rayman now but i give up. can u give me any girly adventure game which is kinda like rayman in that you have a nice character runnin round completin levels. but with good graphics. one that is easily downloadable that i can learn from?
