Guest leviking Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 Hi all gadget freaks, I have a qtek 8020 with MS Windows Mobile 2003 for smartphone. I would like a tool that can change my sound profiles automatically, i.e. activate the "meeting" profil from 08-17 monday>friday and if not, activate the "normal" profile. I have a bad habit of leaving on the loud profile at the office!!! This could be a really helpful tool, something similar was on my previous normal GSM phone. Anyone knows if this is possible at all?
Guest SinisterJunkie Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 (edited) You should be able to set your phone profile to Automatic [start - Settings - Profiles - Automatic] and then just add a meeting to you calendar for the times your at work. Your phone should then automatically switch between Normal and Meeting. Edited April 19, 2005 by SinisterJunkie

Then the phone would constantly change between profiles. It needs to be configurable.
Guest extravagant Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 i guess THIS will do... ;) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I dont like that program
Guest BrAGoL Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 I dont like that program  <{POST_SNAPBACK}> then you need to manually change your profile every now and then... ;)
Guest argh Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 Not the neatest way of doing it, but can you just export your sounds registry key and import whichever one you want whenever you feel like a profile change? I have a couple of exported registry keys to switch between different keysounds sets. (I haven't tried the application mentioned in this thread, so can't compare the usability)
Guest roma0803 Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 I dont like that program  <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why not?
