Guest RiceBurner Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 Anyone know if there is, or even if it would be possible to have, a SDIO Digital Audio Broadcast Radio card? I figure that if someone can make a wi-fi modem SDIO card then it should be possible to make a DAB SDIO card - presumably with software to control it. Anyone?
Guest psionandy Posted August 3, 2005 Report Posted August 3, 2005 Don't think it's possible yet. All of the dab radios (even the pocket ones) are quite large and seem to eat up the juice. The closest is the new pure one £200 but it will record to SD in MP3... so you could use that to record and then play back on your pda... just a thought

(I use the M2K as an mp3 player for my 90minute bike ride to work every day). Doesn't really need to be DAB either tbh. I just find it odd that no-one seems to have considered it. They can make them tiny and run off a potato, so why not put one on and SD card!
Guest MECX Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 Yeh cant see why not, HTC should get their finger out and just integrate one :-)
