How can I lock my phone to a certain GSM tower in my home area? The idiot thing tries to switch to the worst signal everytime.

I'll assume you have a Cingular phone with the 1.03 ROM.

You need to re-flash your phone to the unbranded 1.25 ROM out there on the net. With that ROM, you can lock into any tower you want.

well, I have the 1.25 rom already, but still, it keeps changing (i'm on the manual network selection)
