Guest rubric Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 Recently, while syncing outlook mail to my xphone2, ActiveSync hanged. I had to unplug the phone, and reboot both pc and phone. Since then, ActiveSync always reflects 4 unresolved items on Outlook, and I just can't get anything resolved at all. I've been into the 'storage/windows/messaging and seen thousands of these files that look like 3400000xxx0000fff etc. Some of these files date back to Feb, when I got the phone. They remain there despite me having deleted all messages using Space Maker. Are these files that refuse to go away? Are they safe to delete? I've reset the partnership and cleaned up outlook. ActiveSync just refuses to resolve. Short of resetting my phone, which I'm really disinclined to, is there anything I can do?
Guest badboy4life Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 Most of these files are only 0b or 2b and can be deleted. Some of the larger files may contian email or mms information, but if you have deleted all these then you can delete them. For some reason these do not get deleted when you delete the messages. I don't think that these will be affecting ActiveSync.

Is my phone keeping any record of previous emails? I've deleted all the mail I can find on my PC outlook. Where in the folder structure does the phone store outlook email anyway? THanks
