C500 stuck in Bootloader

Just tried to upgrade the software on my uk C500 to the new french update, unfortunetly the computer blue screened on me as it was just about to updade. Now when I reset the phone iam am stuck with with the dreaded 3 colours and it will not boot any further.

Anybody know how to fix this or is the phone screwed?

You should be able to run a ROM update while the phone is the the 3 colour screen.
