Installing Older ROM

I like alot installed the french ROM today with no problem - I did it becuase i am having the phone replaced tommorrow under warranty for dust.

But i now gather updating rom like that voids warranty so i need to know how to backdate ROM to the original before it goes off wednesday morn.

I tried just installing it and its too old - I tried updateing the NBF file to say i higher ROM version but it leaves the french ROM on the phone. seriously any idea people?

Also does anyone know if ORange will find out, and if so what action will they take?

they could find out as they should reset the device when they recondition it, but i really dont know what action they could take
