Vibrate when on silent

Right, after scouring these posts for weeks, here goes my first post!

On my C500 I have created a profile called "Dead Silent" which is supposed to be completely silent no matter what..... no vibrating even. This is for night time. I used to have this on my Nokias and it worked a treat. The only sound it would play would be the alarm clock.

Now, the other morning (the C500 set to "Dead Silent") I was awoken at 6am by my C500 vibrating violently telling me it was my aunt's birthday!! Now, I realised that there was an alarm in my Outlook calendar set to notify me of this. I have LOADS of things going on in my Outlook calendar and I can't go and turn off all the birthday alarms. Also, becuase I use Plaxo, many people have entered their own details and birthdays in their contact information, and Outlook automatically puts a notification in your calendar!

Another situation was a random vibrating last night. I think my IMAP4 is set to check for new messages every 2 hours. It vibrated again but I have no idea why. There were no new emails.

Any questions?

Any suggestions?

Your Vibrating problem is beyond me mate. I put my C500 into flight mode at night and choose reminders to go off after my alarm so 5:30am I get reminded of birthdays and things to do before I leave for work ;)

Just my little bit of advice.

Oh welcome to the site :D

Thanks! So how do you set your reminders to go off after your alarm? Do you do it manually or is there an option for this?
