My Qtek S100 Sends Text Messages Twice!

This is so strange, everytime I send my GF a text message she gets it at least twice, sometimes the second one comes the next day but it's still the same message. Some she receives three times.

I called up VF and they had reset my network connection and I performed a hard reset but this didn't solve it at all. Has anyone experienced a similar problem? Could it be due to the phone itself and not the network?
