Bluetooth Version and upgrading

Just unpacked and charged my new Jabra BT800 - and the reception is crap. ;)

I want to confirm I have the latest/greatest version of Bluetooth on my SPV M2000 - currently it says : "V1.0.0 Build 3500". Is this the latest available??

Just exactly HOW do I go about upgrading the Bluetooth software??

The phone is ActiveSynched to my W2K PC so is it merely a case of downloading a file and installing???

I seriously hope I'm not going to have to send the headset back. :D
