Guest RiceBurner Posted April 21, 2005 Report Posted April 21, 2005 (edited) ok - I've got an I-tech Clip, and a Jabra BT800 headsets. I've got an SPV M2000 with the latest (Build 3500 from Broadcom) Bluetooth software on it. if I make a call with the phone less than 3 feet from the headset (either of them) ANYTHING that comes through the headset is totally unintelligible. :x :x :x :x :x :x I can't have a sensible conversation at all because I'm always having to ask people to repeat themselves. Is ALL bluetooth communication blighted by cross-talk or interference or simply crap reception to the headset???? Am I expecting too much?? Obviously I"m not expecting face to face clarity - but I would at LEAST like to have the same sounds coming through as I get from the speaker on the phone!!! I would like to be able to have a conversation with someone on the phone and at the same time use the phone as a PDA. I "can" do this with the wired headset - but the cables are bloody annoying and always getting tangled up (especially because I like to take them off and put them in a pocket when not actually on a call) Can anyone PLEASE help me before I throw the sodding things through the window??? EDIT : no swearing please, yo mama might be reading ;) Edited April 21, 2005 by RiceBurner

Guest fraser Posted April 22, 2005 Report Posted April 22, 2005 You got WiFi turned on? WiFi is supposed to mess with bluetooth, as are some cordless phones. Could be that I suppose...
