i use t-mobile, i conect to the internet tru "dial-up connection" ,using met conect, it goes online and everything works great, i just want to know,i have t -mobile, dand i live in manhatana NY, will they charge that as a call or as data,and if its as data, is it a lot?. also i dont hav t -zones unlimited,all i have is tzones 4.99(whic makes no diference i think) any ways,i have used it onl to browse on google for 20 minutes and send text mesages in agilemessenger, please let me know so i ownt run my bill hight. thanks in advance

I'm hoping I understood you correctly. If you are actually having your phone DIAL a connection (an actual phone number), then you are being charged by your minute usage (your whenever minutes). If you connect using GPRS (which is faster and less expensive) you will need to sign up for the TMobile unlimited data plan (I have it and it doesn't suck).

Otherwise, the basic rule of thumb is if you have to actually DIAL a number on your phone to get to the internet, you are using GSM minutes.

If you dial out for internet during your "off peak" times (which for you would your nights and weekends) then you shouldn't be charged for that minute usage. If you are using your phone for GSM internet, then T-Mobile doesn't know the difference between data and voice calls. I suspect you are STILL paying for whatever dialup service you are dialing into from your phone.

You might want to consider switching to the T-Mobile unlimited internet plan. You get GPRS coverage (which is faster then what you are using now) and you don't have to pay another internet provider for dial up access. If you attach that to your voice plan, it should only cost you $19.99 a month for UNLIMITED usage (day or night, weekday or weekend). If you have a smartphone, that is definately the way to go.

thanks for telliing me about the tmobile unlimited plan, but thats 20 dollars, i use a free ISP called ****** and for what i use it its reallynot worth the 20 bucks,i use it to amaze my friends that i got google on my pone and they aint got sh**, j/k i use it to browse this page and some low profile pages,thanks for the answer and if you want the phone and the apassword ofr that service ill gladdy provided
