Guest rccola Posted April 22, 2005 Report Posted April 22, 2005 i purchased an mpx200 a couple of months ago, and i love the phone. the only problem is the reception isn't what i'd like it to be. i'm a cingular customer in pennsylvania, and i was wondering what the reception of the mpx220 is like in comparison. if i hear some good news, i'd be more than happy to purchase one.
Guest dchester Posted April 22, 2005 Report Posted April 22, 2005 I would expect the reception for the MPx220 would be better because it also supports the newer 850 band, whereas the MPx200 does not. It will mostly depend on if there are lots of 850 band cells in your area. In Massachusetts, the MPx220 does fine for me. The one caviat to the MPx220 is that most people feel that the volume on the MPx220 is softer in comparison to the MPx200.
