Guest sorryfunk Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 (edited) Can some one plz help me? ive had the phone 48 hours now and have set a sound to play when i recive a text message but i aint hearing a sound? :oops: I have worked out that its because the sound is a .mp3 file and not a .wav can some one point me in the right direction of a programme that will convert MP3 into .wav Thanks in advance Edited April 23, 2005 by sorryfunk

Guest KenM Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 BTW Can you assign wav files to system sounds and notifications? On my Xda IIi this is restricted to ringtones only. For alarms and event notifications i.e. incoming text alerts, you're restricted to the dozen or so default sounds. Ken

The wav files need to be in the windows folder on PPC Ken
