Guest UncleBuck Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 Hi All, Just got a MPX220 and love it, receiption is great anywhere....Anyhow I got it on a web page "don't know if I can post it here though" but couldnt compleate the buying on line it wouldnt accept my credit card. So I rang and to cut a long story short I got the phone for £14,99 a month and 7 nonths half price line rental...tes, I know its hard to believe but true....I even read it all back to him....I also took a copy of the web page too, as its stated on there too. Well I've had my first bill in and it is for £30 a month, I've called Phone People and they say they never told me that it was £14.99 a month, I told them you did and I have the proof...the web page. ...Now they wont return my calls...O2 don't want to know either...Whats my position guy's Any how I rang O2 and asked for my phone to be unlocked, I've only had it 2 weeks on a yearly contract, I said I used a duel sim card , one for work and one for home....I was supprised when they said OK, it took 4 days and now I can use any sim in it..... Keep it up guy's
Guest squall Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 I would write a letter to the company including a copy of your proof. Set out your case and indicate that if its not sorted by the time the next bill comes you will take further action. theres a few things you can do, ask the bank to stop the direct debit and reclaim the excess funds they have transferred (you need proof of overcharge for this) Contact the office of fair traiding / citizens advice. cancel the direct debit outright, although i dont recomend that as it would effect your credit rating!
