not enough space on the phone

Well, when i try installing some games on my phone, activesync keep saying not enough space! i have a 256mb sd card with like 100mb of free space, how is that not enough space??? However there is still only like 1mb left on my phone...anywayz most of the time when i want to install a game, my phone would ask me if i want to install it onto the phone or the "mount volume." However, if the game is more than 1mb the activesync would simply say, not enough space avilable, hence it would let me get to step two (which is me telling my phone to install the games onto the sd card). how anyone know how to solve this problem? and does any1 know where the voice tags are located in the phone, so i can place the voice tag onto the sd card and save space on my phone..thx in advance

installing stuff on your sd card i think takes a tiny tiny bit off your phone to not sure-

are you sure you installing it on the sd card though?

I have no idea about voice tags, but what has eaten up all the phone memory ?

You need to clear out old messages and keep the number of ringtones and skins to a minimum.

Have you installed any software to the actual phone memory rather than the storage card ?

Cab files are stored to the phone's flash memory first before they are unpacked to either phone or SD memory.

You could try this for clearing out some memory.

1. Delete unwanted SMS, MMS, Emails etc and then goto Folders-Deleted Items and empty folder.

2. Go to Start-Settings-remove Programs and delete any unwanted progremas, homescreen etc that you have stored to phone memory.

3. Go to Internet Explorer, Menu-Options_memory and clear all three options (including Temporary file - even if it says 0 bytes)

4. Delete any ringtones stored in phone memory.

5. Delete photos stored to phone memory and set photo application to SD card.

6. Move any photo themes to SD card.

7. Load PV player and move and stored audio/video files to SD card using the application.

8. Reset the phone.

That should definitely clear out the phone memory ;)

Additionally, you could check \Storage\windows\AppMgr\Install for some unwanted cab files from a failed installation.
